Alison Caron Design Wins 9 American Graphic Design Awards
The editors of Graphic Design USA have announced the results of the 2018 American Graphic Design Awards. This year, Alison Caron Design has received nine awards, almost doubling the 5 awards they received last year. In 2016, Ms. Caron received her first American Graphic Design Award for an annual report she designed for The International Fund for Animal Welfare. Alison Caron Design's winning designs this year included work for Cape Cod Beer, the Cape Cod Fishermen's Alliance, the Cape Cod Regional STEM Network, IFAW, South Coast Almanac, and the Home Builders & Remodelers Association's At Home on Cape Cod magazine.

Alison Caron Design Wins Awards
Graphic Design USA has announced the winners of its 2017 awards. Alison Caron Design garnered five American Graphic Design Awards for creative work including the Cape & Islands United Way 2016 Annual Report; Chatham Chamber of Commerce Guide Book; International Fund for Animal Welfare 2016 Annual Report; International Fund for Animal Welfare "Building a Better World" brochure; and the 2017 South Coast Almanac.

Caron is Silver Level Sponsor for John F. Kennedy Museum
In keeping with her desire to give back to the community, Alison Caron is pleased to announce that Alison Caron Design is a Silver Level sponsor of the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. Silver Level sponsors donate at least $2,500 per year to the museum. Caron's sponsorship includes the in-kind contribution of her studio's services. To help with the museum's outreach and fund-raising, Caron designs the museum's Victura newsletter, advertisements, and marketing materials.

Alison Caron Honored with 40 Under 40 Award
Cape & Plymouth Business has announced winners of its 2016 "40 under 40" Awards. Among the honorees, chosen from hundreds of nominees, is Alison Caron, owner of Alison Caron Design. She and the other winners will be honored on June 16 at a special event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel, Falmouth. Each of the honorees exemplifies "an entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to community service and potential to positively contribute to the future of our region," according to the announcement.

Caron Designs Award-Winning IFAW Annual Report
The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals has announced that the 2014 annual report of the Yarmouthport–based International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is the winner of a 2015 Hermes Creative Award. IFAW teamed with Alison Caron Design to create its annual report.

Alison Caron Design Offers Photoshop Boot Camp
Following the success of the initial Photoshop Boot Camp, Alison Caron, principal and owner of Alison Caron Design, is offering additional dates for the one-day, intensive-training workshop. Photoshop Boot Camp will take place on January 31 and February 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the firm's training center located at 396 Main Street, Suite 14, Hyannis (above Puritan Cape Cod).

Alison Caron Design Opens New Office
Alison Caron Design, an advertising and branding firm, has a new home on Main Street, Hyannis. The office, at 396 Main Street, suite 14, is above Puritan Cape Cod, and features ample space for team meetings with clients, a photography studio, and room for owner, Alison Caron, to teach design workshops. Caron has worked on Main Street for more than 10 years. She was creative director of Cape Cod Magazine, South Shore Living, Chatham Magazine, and Cape Cod Guide, and prior to that, a graphic designer at The Cape Cod Times. "Main Street, Hyannis, is the hub of Cape Cod business," says Caron, "and it feels great to be home again and close to my clients."

Caron Featured in Faculty Exhibit
The design work of Alison Caron is represented in a faculty exhibit at Higgins Art Gallery in the Tilden Arts Center at Cape Cod Community College. An adjunct professor in the graphic arts department at the college, Caron owns Alison Caron Design.
The exhibit runs through December 11 with a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 4. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The public is invited. For more information call 508-454-9995.

Caron's Interview with the Creative Revolution
Pamela C. Wills, ringleader of the Creative Revolution, interviewed Alison Caron as part of her Revolutionary Artists interview series. Wills's series of podcasts showcases artists, each of whom has been able to make their living with his or her art.
Wills interviewed Alison Caron about all the elements that led her to her career as a freelance graphic designer, whose mission is to help businesses and organizations to grow. She works with each client to create or update branding, including advertising, websites, and social media presence.

Caron To Teach Adobe Classes at WERC Campus
Graphic designer will offer instruction geared toward providing practical branding and design knowledge to small business owners and marketing professionals.
Alison Caron, owner of Alison Caron Design, will be teaching a series of courses at the Cape Cod Community College WERC campus in downtown Hyannis for the upcoming fall semester. Each of the three courses will focus on a different Adobe program and provide small business owners and marketing professionals with the practical skills needed to create effective branding and marketing materials. The first in the series, Introduction to Photoshop, will also appeal to anyone interested in enhancing digital photos.
